Since I own a Zaurus 5500G (German) Linux PDA from Sharp, I started writing some small apps which I didn't find anywhere for download. To give others the chance of using these programs on their Z too, I put them on this page for download.
Please note, that I absolutely take no warranty for the behavior or fitness of these programs. I hereby disclaim all liability for these programs and shall be made in no event responsible for any damages or misbehaviors. Furthermore these programs were only tested on a Z 5500G, so they might not work as exepcted on other devices (e.g. Z5600). YOU ARE WARNED AND AGREE TO THE TERMS ABOVE BY DOWNLOADING THIS PROGRAM(S)

Noten

A program to save the grades of a Pupil in 12th or 13th Grade in Germany. Note: As this program is mainly for german students, there is no english version

Features are:

Calculates the average of points for each subject
Calculates the average of points overall
All calculations happen "on the fly" - you don't need to wait
Subjects / Grades can be sorted with one click
Unlimited number of subjects
All records are automatically saved when exiting "Noten"
And best of all: It is GPL'ed source :)

ZElement

This little program is a periodic table, which gives you important information about all the chemical elements.

Features are:

Can be used with stylus or cursor
Everything fits on one screen
Many, many elements, from Hydrogen to Ununoctium
Gives information about weight, discovery date, melting point and boiling point
As above: It is GPL'ed source :)
